Choosing lingerie that fits (and feels good)

How to measure yourself, read a size chart, and pick fabrics and styles that are comfortable as well as beautiful.

Great lingerie should make you feel good the moment you put it on — not after an evening of adjusting straps. Fit is everything.

Measure yourself

You'll need a soft tape measure. Measure over a thin, unpadded bra or nothing at all.

  • Underbust — snugly around your ribcage, just under the bust.
  • Bust — loosely around the fullest part.
  • Waist — at the narrowest point.
  • Hips — around the fullest part of your hips and seat.

Read the size chart, not just the letter

Our sets come in S, M, L and XL. As a guide, S fits AU 8–10, M fits 10–12, L fits 14–16 and XL fits 16–18, but always check the measurements on each product, as stretch and cut vary.

Between sizes? For lace and mesh, which have more give, size down. For satin and silk, which don't stretch, size up.

Choose fabric for comfort

  • Stretch lace — soft and forgiving; look for a scalloped, non-scratchy edge.
  • Mesh — light and breathable, great for bodysuits.
  • Satin and silk — smooth and luxurious; perfect for camis and robes.

Details that make a difference

  • Adjustable straps and multiple hook positions.
  • Snap closures on bodysuits for practicality.
  • Cotton-lined gussets.

Caring for it

Hand-wash in cool water or use a mesh laundry bag on a delicate cycle, and dry flat in the shade. It will last much longer.
